Try fear setting
If you want to pursue something but you are paralyzed with fear and inaction, try a strategy called fear setting. You write down the worst that can happen if you pursue the thing you’re afraid of (you fail, people ridicule you, you get rejected, you get hurt, etc.), and then write down ways to prevent those things or repair those things if they happen. Part of this is also writing down the cost of inaction (since failing to decide is inaction). What will happen if you never do it. Will you regret it later in life? Will you miss out an opportunity for growth? Will it impact your wellbeing? Once you have all of these things in front of you on paper instead of bouncing around in your head, it will be much easier to decide if you will pursue the thing or not.
