Take the time for self care
Many people think that taking time for self care is overindulgent, but finding healthy ways to de-stress and relax are extremely important for our mental, emotional and physical health. Try taking a bath at the end of a long day, or going for a light jog in the mornings, or taking a weekly yoga class. Self care can also be visiting a therapist, journaling, or finding a creative outlet, such as painting. Find something you enjoy that relaxes you and do it regularly. Because if you take care of yourself, you’re better able to take care of others, too.
