Stop buying cheap stuff
We live in a throw-a-way culture. Fast fashion, dollar stores, single-use plastics, never-ending upgrades to electronics, etc. But that is slowly changing and people are starting to become wise to its impacts. One way that you can reduce the amount of waste you produce is the concept of buying less and choosing well. Before you buy something, really consider if it is well made and if it will last. Make sure it won’t go out of fashion quickly. And if possible, try to look into if the company is socially responsible (companies often list CSR reports or info online).
