The psychological benefits of journaling are well-documented. ⠀

Journaling allows people to clarify their thoughts and feelings, helping them gain valuable self-awareness. It’s also a good problem-solving tool where one can hash out a problem and come up with solutions on paper.⠀

It’s such a wonderful practice because it’s so easy to do anytime, anywhere. You simply write down your thoughts and feelings in that moment. Some people swear by the method of writing for at least three pages because after the first one or two pages you’ve written about what’s top of mind and then you tend to go deeper into your issues after that.⠀

But, really, any self expression will help clear your mind.
