Rotate your kids’ toys

Do your kids have too many toys? You can donate or pass on what doesn’t work for your family of course, but another way to manage the new toys is to implement a toy rotation system. Instead of having all your kids’ toys accessible all the time, you keep half or a third of the toys in a closet or storage space and then once every couple of months you rotate them. This way, the toys that were in storage are like new again and get renewed interest from the kids. This leads to buying less toys since your kids have a steady stream of “new” toys every couple of months. It helps to set a recurring reminder to help you remember to do the rotation
