Play with the new kid

It can be pretty hard starting a new school. You don’t know anyone, you don’t know where anything is, and often kids have established friends groups and it can be hard to make new friends. The next time you see a new kid at school, go out of your way to be nice to them and ask them about themselves. You can ask them to sit with you at lunch, be a partner in class, introduce them to your friends, or see if they want to hang out after school. The new kid will surely appreciate your kindness and you might meet a really great new friend.
