Meditation is becoming more popular as people discover its great benefits. You can use it to reduce stress, develop concentration, improve mood, and help with sleep difficulties. For best results, you have to do it consistently, so it’s important that you set a reasonable goal to start. One minute probably seems ridiculous but you’d be surprised how hard it is to even take just one minute out of your day to sit and not do anything else. Start with the one minute goal and once you’ve done it for one month, increase it to two minutes. A great goal is to eventually reach ten to twenty minutes a day BUT every little bit counts so if you need to stick to one or two minutes a day to make it work for your life, that is certainly better than nothing.
