Make care packages for the homeless for the holidays
Instead of doing a secret Santa or small gift exchange at your work or with your friends (where you end up with something you don’t want or need), you can instead spend that money to create care packages for the homeless together. It works like this: you each buy $20 worth of items for the packages (granola bars, tissues, wipes, toothbrushes, socks, underwear, bandaids, chapstick, feminine hygiene products, nail clippers and a note of encouragement). A great thing to put them in is one of those drawstring backpacks because they are reusable and lightweight. Then you each take a few bags to keep in your car and give them to a homeless person when you see one. This obviously won’t solve the homelessness problem but at least that person will know that there is someone out there who cares about them.
First off I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your
head prior to writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my mind in getting
my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing
but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
Thank you!
I am in fact grateful to the holder of this web site who has
shared this wonderful paragraph at here.
Why users still make use of to read news papers when in this technological globe the whole thing is available on web?
