Let then go in peace
Learning to forgive others is a gift to yourself. Resentment and hatred are toxic emotions and you will be much happier if you understand their human side and realize that no one is perfect. They are probably just a damaged person doing only what they were taught or know how to do.
That said, if someone is treating you poorly over and over again, you do not need to be friends or partners with that person. You don’t have to spend time with people who deplete your energy, your confidence, or your happiness. Simply let them go in peace.
