Kick your paper towel habit
It’s hard to kick the paper towel habit. They’re so easy and convenient. But if you keep a jar of rags on your counter or in a kitchen drawer, rags are really just as convenient to use. And instead of them having to be tossed afterwards, you can wash them and re-use them. You don’t have to go out and buy a bunch of rags, either. You can just cut up some old clothes that can’t be worn anymore, like old t-shirts that have holes or stains. For the parents out there, you can use clothing that your kids have outgrown that are too beat up to pass on to someone else. You can even use socks that you no longer have a match for.
