Did you know that chocolate is one of the highest risks industries for child labour? There are an estimated 2 MILLION children working in the cocoa sector in West Africa. These children are vulnerable to brutal labour practices, including human trafficking and modern slavery. If you want to avoid supporting these awful practices by chocolate companies, buy chocolate that has a fair trade symbol on it or from smaller businesses that source from “bean to bar.” ⠀
