Check in on an elderly neighbour
Heat waves, heavy snowfalls and extreme storms will be more and more frequent due to climate change affecting weather across the world. While it may not be too bad for some us with able bodies and resources, for some people it can mean they are essentially trapped in their house without access to food or water. If you can, knock on any neighbours doors that you think might need a hand in the extreme weather. You can offer to shovel their walkways or make a run to the store for them.
