Overconsumption of animal products are destroying the environment, causing poor treatment of animals, and promoting major health risks. The good news is this trend is slowing in the developed world and more and more people are reducing the amount of animal products they consume and are embracing plant-based foods instead. Ways to join this movement include meatless Mondays, weekday vegetarians, vegan before 6, and of course, being vegetarian and vegan!
